The Chef
Chef Julia grew up in a Brazilian family where cooking from scratch and using fresh ingredients were part of her everyday life. No matter what kind of family gathering they were hosting, everybody always ended up in the heart of the home, the kitchen.
Watching her father cook gave her a great sense of the importance of only serving food with the best ingredients but never leaving out the most important of all: love.
Julia lived in NYC for six long winters and it was at the Big Apple where she discovered the magic of creating food in a professional kitchen. After attending a good amount of individual classes at The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), she realized she wanted to cook professionally as a chef.
After moving to the Sunshine State, she attended the Culinary School at Le Cordon Bleu Miami and earned a diploma in Culinary Arts. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Hospitality in Brazil.
